7 Weeks Today!

Absolutely exhausted from two full days of CPE on the other side of the planet (i.e. the Cobb Galleria). I managed to stay awake, but barely. And I learned that a 1.5 hour commute back home with a sore bum is NOT fun. Grateful for my normal 15 minute ride!

Anyway... today we reached 7 weeks! Nausea is in full effect. No vomiting (yet), but definitely feeling nice and crappy. Never been so happy to feel like poop! So blessed to still be on this ride...

OK, please excuse me while I go take a nap. Hope you all have fantastic weekends!

Nausea is the best sign. I totally get that it is crappy at 21 weeks I still have a bucket with me wherever I go. I tend to see it though as a good sign. Hope the bum feels better soon.

For the infertiles who've gone through various treatments/meds, I think the nausea probably seems minor in comparison! I think my mega nausea during my first 10 weeks was more due to the mega progesterone I was on in combo with the baby making progesterone/other hormones in my body. I'm now 18 weeks and still having nausea on and off but not as regularly as the first 10 weeks thank goodness...someone asked what it was like, and for me it was like having nasty nausea from a mega hangover (the kind that makes you say you'll never drink again) and you desperately want it to come out from one end or the other but it never will...sorry, tmi!! For the most part mine has been like that with minimal throwing up. I highly recommend having zofran on hand to help you get through the workday. Also, I believe Unisom has a bit of anti-nausea medicine in it, so taking it at night will help with both sleep and belly (although I can't take more than half a pill at a time). Eating small snacks/meals every couple hours helps too.

Yeah for the woozies! That's a good sign, by the way! In not every case, but in most cases next comes the hunger like you have never felt before - yet the thought of eating isn't all that appealing. Make sure you do posts on your cravings....haha.

I had nausea, but never threw up. It was odd, but a welcome symptom. Bring it on, right? *lol* It's well worth it. Glad you're doing well. Rest up and don't feel bad for being tired. You're creating a being ;)
