Snowbunnies.

Hope you Georgia gals are enjoying the snow! Other than taking 1.5 hours to get home last night (when my commute is usually 15-20 min), I'm loving it. From inside though. By the fire. The doggies LOVE it. Here are a few pics the hub snapped last night when it was still coming down...

That's at least 3 inches, don't ya think? Haven't seen this much snow in I don't know how long. This is not normal.

We're waiting for the roads to clear up some and then we're headed up to Ellijay to join my parents at a cabin. Here's a peek...

Isn't it dreamy? Now if we can just get there! We'll be back tomorrow afternoon for our traditional Valentine's Day fondue. It's the one day a year we whip out the fondue pot and we wear Valentine's jammies while we eat. We started doing it, gosh, like 5 or 6 years ago and now it's just what we do. Can't wait!

What a perfect weekend to be at a cabin! Isn't this snow we have so pretty? I just tweeted that I haven't seen this kind of snow in so long. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and be safe on the roads!

Snow in South Georgia....school is cancelled the day before the predicted arrival...firewood disappears from road sign stands...the grocery stories run out of milk and bread....we got 5-6 inches and it was magical!! We sure don't know how to drive in it and our animals have no idea what to do in it...but dang, we take mega tons of pictures!!! Glad y'all got some flurries and flakes and snowmen in the yard too!!!
