Teacher Appreciation Week: Day 3

Today's theme was "the gift of smell."  They didn't say it had to be a good smell... but I figure they get enough not-good smells in the classroom.

We got a list of Sam's teachers' "favorites" to help us with ideas, and one of his teachers listed her favorite perfume scents as Dolce & Gabbana or Gucci.  Pretty sure Dove would've been next on her list...

I'm not a perfume person, but I do like these Dove body mists - very light and feminine.

In the past I always assumed that you came up with these "themes" as a way to spark your creativity, but the school does it? And you get a "favorites" list? Yikes! That sounds a bit presumptuous! I got gifts for O's "teachers" today because it was fun thinking if ideas for them and it is the last day of class but I'm not sure I would have been able to keep the same excited attitude if I felt obligated or expected to do something (especially all week)! Your ideas are definitely cute though and show that you don't have to spend a ton!

I was thinking the same thing as Kathleen! I am a teacher and I love the little gifts that some of my kiddos give, I can't imagine essentially requiring them! I even feel badly at Christmastime when they ASK me what I like or want. Your gifts are amazing, though, and I would love to be the recipient of any of them!!
